Student Volunteers

Linh (Layla) Vo
Hi everyone! My name is Linh but you can also call me Layla! I’m a student here at Stanford studying mechanical engineering! I’ve always loved art and have been with Healing Strokes for around 2 years now! Healing Strokes has been such a wonderful community for me and always a highlight of my week! One day, I’d love to become a professional artist and have my work displayed somewhere! Outside of school and work, I love going on walks, getting a sweet treat, and doing film photography! Fun fact, I also have a small fluffy dog named Stanford.

Darren Chan
Hello, my name is Darren Chan and I’m a junior studying Biomedical Computation at Stanford! I’m originally from San Diego, California, and love all things outdoors, including hiking, running, and surfing (this is where a lot of my art inspiration comes from)! I’m excited to help build a warm space for our community and help support and grow Healing Strokes!

Allison Zhang
Hi everyone! My name is Allison but you can also call me Ally. I am a junior at Stanford studying bioengineering, but I have also loved drawing and all forms of visual art since I was little. I have been volunteering with Healing Strokes for about a year now, and it has become such a special space for me to connect with you all and create with intentionality together. I look forward to sharing more moments with everyone!

Eu Jin Jung
My name is Eu Jin and I am a junior studying Biology. I was born in Korea, grew up in Germany, and came to Stanford. I really like painting and drawing even though I was never very skilled at it. I’m super excited to meet you all!

Iris Qu
Hello! My name is Iris and I’m a sophomore studying biology at Stanford! I’m from Orlando, Florida, and I love all activities under the sun–especially picnics. If I’m not in class, meetings, or doing homework, you can find me drawing or reading. I’m excited to meet everyone and spend time together!

Audrey Lin
Hi! I'm Audrey, and I'm a senior at Stanford majoring in biomedical computation and minoring in music. I'm also actively involved in chamber music (I play violin!) and lion dance on campus. I also like to take photos and make graphic designs in my free time, as well as spend time outdoors and try out new food places in the area. I'm excited to be a part of the Healing Strokes community!

Harmony Sosa
Hi, I am Harmony and I am excited to meet you all! I am in my third year at Stanford studying Biomedical Computation. I am interested in pursuing neurology in the future, and I am especially passionate about the connection between healing and the arts. In my free time, I enjoy playing music and reading whatever book I can get my hands on. I am always looking for new song and book recommendations, so feel free to pass on any suggestions!

Melody Chang
Hi everyone! My name is Melody, and I am a junior studying Science, Technology and Society on the Life Science and Health Track. I am originally from Orange County, CA. I went to a performing arts high school where I studied classical piano, so I have a deep appreciation for all forms of art and music. In my free time, I also love reading, swimming, and cooking!

Alison Wan
I’m a junior studying biomechanical engineering. I love working with my hands to create things that can help others, especially when there's room for a touch of artistry. That is partly why I want to become a dentist! When I'm not focused on school, you can find me working on an art project, going on spontaneous trips, reading, and making musicsite.com

Deeksha Khanna
I am a freshman at Stanford University with a strong interest in studying Chemistry and Bioengineering. Aspiring to become a physician-scientist, I am deeply passionate about contributing to her community and is thrilled to be a member of Healing Strokes.
